About The Position

Our Contracts Administration team at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee is hiring a Contracts Administration Analyst I to help maintain contracting standards and system configuration to support business compliance. In this role, you’ll coordinate with departments to implement contracts, support contracting audits and validation of system deployments to minimize user disruption, and serve as a go-to resource for negotiated agreement requirements and contract process flows. We are looking for a candidate who is excited about leveraging Enterprise‑AI–approved tools in their daily work to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and insight generation. The ideal candidate brings strong contract administration/compliance fundamentals, experience with tools like Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and DocuSign, and the organization and project-management skills to manage multiple priorities and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical partners. In addition to the required qualifications, healthcare contract and provider contracting experience are highly preferred. Note: This position is not available for sponsorship

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or 4 years of relevant work experience in a legal, compliance, contract administration, computer science, or healthcare field.
  • 2 year- Progressive administrative experience in various software systems (i.e. Microsoft, Google, DocuSign, SharePoint) required.
  • Proven experience maintaining contracting standard with a focus on processes and technical solutioning.
  • Project management experience and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or function in a team environment sharing responsibility, roles and accountability.
  • Understanding of contract management processes and policies, contract lifecycle, and industry best practices.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
  • Must be a team player, be organized and have the ability to handle multiple projects

Responsibilities

  • Interacting and coordinating with departments and employees to facilitate contract implementation.
  • Support contracting audits and validation of system implementations and deployments to create the least user disruption.
  • Serve as a guide for all negotiated agreements with contracting system.
  • Assisting in the development of operating policies and procedures for the department.
  • Monitoring contracts against goals and objectives.
  • Manages requests related to audits and compliance documentation.
