About The Position

Serve as the primary point of contact between the Government and contractor personnel. Supervise FOIA Analysts and oversee daily FOIA operations, workload distribution, and quality assurance. Manage FOIA request intake, records searches, document review, redactions, and response preparation. Monitor FOIAXpress case activity and ensure complete, accurate, and timely case documentation. Coordinate with Government officials, records custodians, program offices, and legal stakeholders throughout the FOIA process. Review correspondence, exemption determinations, referrals, consultations, and release packages for quality and compliance. Prepare performance reports, monitor contract metrics, and implement process improvements. Ensure compliance with the Freedom of Information Act, Department of the Interior guidance, and National Park Service policies.

Requirements

  • Minimum three (3) years of federal FOIA experience.
  • Minimum three (3) years of supervisory or team lead experience supporting FOIA or records management operations.
  • Experience managing complex or high-volume FOIA requests.
  • Experience using FOIAXpress and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong knowledge of FOIA exemptions, referrals, consultations, records management, and federal records processing.
  • Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain the required federal background investigation.
