About The Position

DEFTEC delivers mission-critical solutions through skillfully delivered services and innovative products. We are inspired by our clients' critical missions and driven to provide the most effective solutions to execute their missions, operational challenges, and requirements. Our dedicated, experienced, and talented employees work closely with our clients to ensure the delivery of exceptional services and products. The Contractor Support to Microsoft 365 SharePoint & Power Platform Development/Administration supports CAPDEV organizations through hands-on administration, configuration, and development of SharePoint, Power Apps, and Power Automate solutions that digitize manual, spreadsheet-based, or email-driven business processes. This role works directly with process owners and operational users to elicit requirements and design SharePoint information architectures, including sites, lists, content types, metadata, and permissions, while developing integrated solutions combining SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and other Microsoft 365 services to support approvals, routing, notifications, and data synchronization across CAPDEV workflows, including in secure or classified environments. The incumbent troubleshoots and resolves platform issues, applies configuration management and lifecycle practices appropriate to Microsoft solution development, conducts user testing and iterative improvement, and documents solutions for sustainment and transition; qualifying candidates bring a technical degree (or equivalent experience) and demonstrated hands-on expertise across SharePoint administration, Power Apps and Power Automate development, integrated multi-component solutions, data integration with enterprise services, and business process digitization. Finally, this individual advises the COTR on when requirements warrant local implementation versus enterprise-level scaling, and supports transition of successful locally developed applications to enduring platforms or designated sustainment organizations, providing documentation and knowledge transfer to ensure continued operation.
