The Manager, Contractor Special Access Program Security Officer (CSSO), you will be responsible for the management of accredited SAPFs and SCIFs, manage all security aspects of classified government contract programs and operations, lead self-inspections and security education programs to ensure security compliance, and work with internal and external partners to determine a mitigation strategy for any instances of non-compliance. Implement all requisite national security directives with specific emphasis on DoD 5205.07 SAP Security Manual, ICD 705 and exhibit the dedication and expectation of a seasoned security professional while working and making decisions independently without direct supervision. This is an onsite position in Richardson, TX.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • Experience specifically with implementing SAP & SCI security compliance.
  • Willingness to perform security tasks outside specialty (e.g. physical security) and be proficient in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, ).

Responsibilities

  • Professionally and effectively interface with program managers and government officials to obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations or waivers for compliance with regulations.
  • Implement and ensure compliance with the DoD Manual 5205.07, 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM Rule), Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), and related Industrial Security Guidance Manuals or Special Program Security directives.
  • Make decisions and provide timely inputs that impact critical goals and objectives of the business.
  • Review contractual (SOW, CDRL, etc.) documents, internal directives, and external customer directives for security applicability, impact analysis, and make recommendations to Program Management.
  • Perform duties as the SAP-AO (Accountability Officer).
  • Provide oversight of security related Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), OPSEC Plans, Program Protection Plans (PPP), Program Protection Implementation Plans (PPIP).
  • Partner with cross functional organizations to support business objectives.
  • Implement a self-inspection program to include evaluating findings and directing the implementation and re-evaluation of the corrective action(s).
  • Prepare, submit and receive area/facility accreditation approvals
  • Lead the team in Government security compliance inspections.
  • Investigate security infractions/violations, prepare reports specifying the potential for loss or compromise, and provide associated corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with and assist the ISSO/ISSM on implementation of JSIG requirements and approved sanitization procedures for hardware and test equipment.
  • Participate in facility construction meetings, build out, and documentation (if applicable)
