About The Position
Timberline Builders Supply is seeking a Contractor Sales representative to join their growing team. This role is focused on building and maintaining strong relationships with contractors and customers by delivering exceptional service. The ideal candidate will have previous sales experience, preferably in construction or building materials, and possess strong communication and organizational skills. This is a flexible opportunity, open to part-time or full-time schedules for the right candidate. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous sales experience, preferably in construction or building materials
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build lasting customer relationships
- Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support store needs
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Results-oriented with the ability to support store operations with humility and serve as a steward of Nation’s Best values
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while remaining adaptable and flexible
- Strong interpersonal skills with a consistent focus on delivering exceptional customer service
Nice To Haves
- Some college in business preferred
- Knowledge of building materials, including special order doors and windows, is a plus
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors and customers by delivering exceptional service
- Provide product knowledge and guidance to support customer purchasing decisions
- Communicate with customers via phone and email to answer questions and process orders
- Share accurate pricing, inventory and delivery information to support sales
- Prepare bids and estimates and enter orders accurately into the system
- Assist with order management and accounts receivable follow-up as needed
- Support overall store operations and complete other tasks as assigned
