Contractor for Assembly and Installation of Outdoor Products - McAllen Tx
About The Position
AIT Home Delivery, a division of AIT Worldwide Logistics, is seeking contractors for assembly and installation of outdoor products in the McAllen, TX area. This contract role offers the potential to earn between $40K-$100K+ annually, with weekly settlements. Contractors will be offered various types of work and can choose which contracts to accept. Most assembly jobs require a qualified helper, forming two-man teams. The available work includes the assembly of large outdoor products such as playsets, pergolas, gazebos, resin structures, and sheds at customer homes. For basketball installations, a pickup truck, van, or smaller box truck is required, along with the capability for occasional product pick-up and delivery. Experience with concrete is preferred.
Requirements
- Sufficient vehicle for the work being performed.
- Reliable helper; two-man teams required.
- Ownership of hand and power tools.
- Mechanical aptitude to build products to manufacturer specifications.
- Possession of an EIN (federal tax ID).
- Compliance with insurance and vehicle registration requirements.
- Compliance with state laws for the vehicle being used.
- Willingness to undergo background and drug screens (for contractors and helpers).
- Willingness to undergo MVR checks (for driving contractors).
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- Tech savvy with a mobile phone.
- Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
