About The Position

Koniag Professional Services, LLC a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Contracting Analyst with a TS/SCI security clearance to support KPS and our government customer in Washington, DC. This role provides acquisition policy, contract management, and administrative support to the AI2 Office in support of multiple acquisition efforts. The Contracting Analyst serves as a trusted advisor to the Government Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) by coordinating contract actions, monitoring performance, managing contractor onboarding and offboarding activities, ensuring compliance with applicable policies, and facilitating communication among Government stakeholders, contracting offices, and performers. This position supports the execution of multiple concurrent contracts while maintaining accurate documentation, metrics, and contract lifecycle records. This role is best suited for a highly collaborative individual who can bridge operational, acquisition, and technical communities while enabling execution.

Requirements

  • Experience supporting Department of Defense programs.
  • Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS), and DoD acquisition policies.
  • Experience supporting Government Contracting Officer’s Representatives (CORs).
  • Knowledge of contractor onboarding, offboarding, security, and access management processes.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent contracts or acquisition efforts.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Active Top Secret security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting Artificial Intelligence, software acquisition, digital modernization, or rapid acquisition programs.
  • Experience working within OUSD(A&S), OUSD(R&E), Defense Innovation Unit (DIU), or similar DoD organizations.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Power BI, and acquisition tracking tools.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support to Government CORs managing multiple OTA agreements, task orders, and contract actions.
  • Track contract periods of performance, funding, modifications, deliverables, option periods, and key milestones.
  • Coordinate with contracting officers, legal counsel, resource managers, and program managers to ensure timely execution of acquisition actions.
  • Develop and maintain contract management trackers, acquisition dashboards, and executive status reports.
  • Review Statements of Work (SOW), Performance Work Statements (PWS), Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE), acquisition packages, and contract modifications for completeness and policy compliance.
  • Support acquisition planning and market research activities for new requirements.
  • Monitor contractor performance metrics and assist the COR with documenting contractor performance issues, deliverable acceptance, and invoice validation.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities including personnel rosters, security clearance verification, CAC issuance, account requests, training requirements, government furnished equipment (GFE), and system access.
  • Coordinate offboarding activities including recovery of government property, account deactivation, security out-processing, and final personnel reconciliation.
  • Maintain contract files and documentation in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), DoD policy, and office procedures.
  • Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), acquisition guides, and internal policy documents.
  • Coordinate recurring meetings with Government stakeholders and contractors, prepare agendas, meeting minutes, and action item trackers.
  • Provide executive-level briefings and status reports on contract execution, staffing levels, risks, and upcoming acquisition milestones.
  • Assist in responding to data calls, audits, Inspector General inquiries, and congressional requests involving acquisition documentation.
  • Identify contract execution risks and recommend corrective actions to Government leadership.
