About The Position

You will be responsible for the issuance, set up and maintenance of advisor contracts and schedules in our Administrative Systems. This includes completion of agent suitability reviews for all lines of business. Updates and/or tasks must be completed accurately and in a timely manner to support the uninterrupted and accurate disbursement of compensation to advisors and distribution and access of client information to advisors.

  • 1-2 years office / administrative experience
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills
  • Excellent time management
  • Ability to work under pressure of deadlines and fluctuating workloads
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize within a changing environment
  • Ability to build effective relationships, both internally and externally

Responsibilities

  • Perform suitability reviews, including applicable verification and other due diligence tasks
  • Investigate advisor coding errors/referrals in the policy admin systems to support the Underwriting and New Business process and policy changes
  • Investigate internal and external inquiries and make applicable corrections.
  • Research requests for change regarding compensation hierarchies (structure) and bonus set-up.
  • Adheres to provincial regulations in the set up and maintenance of advisor structure for purposes of applicable submission and compensation
  • Partner with other members of the LCCS team to effectively manage and resolve cross channel issues
  • Research and resolve unprocessed tasks and daily events from the compensation systems to ensure complete/accurate comp payments
  • Support the adherence to operations risk policies as outlined in policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines instructions and ensures processes and controls are in place to minimize operations risk within LCCS
  • Review and manage/correct New Business errors to ensure policies are settled accurately and within a timely manner
