About The Position

Alexander Youth Network is passionate about helping children overcome their mental health challenges. Our teams are committed to creating an environment that empowers every individual to thrive and make a difference. This role provides mental health counseling services to behaviorally or emotionally disturbed clients primarily within the school setting and to their families as needed. The therapist will also collaborate with teachers, school personnel, and other relevant individuals and entities in treatment planning. Requirements

• M.S.W.
• Two+ years related experience in behavioral healthcare preferred.
• Fully Licensed LCSW or LPC or eligibility for state certification preferred
• Must have an NC Driver's License

Responsibilities

• Provide mental health counseling services to behaviorally or emotionally disturbed clients primarily within the school setting and to their families as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers, school personnel, and other relevant individuals and entities in treatment planning.
• Carry an office-based case load as needed.
