About The Position

The Contract Technician (CT) reviews and improves the hospital, homecare, and physician contract management system within the Epic System and validates HealthPlan payments. The position primarily audits expected reimbursement in the system and the various components that affect its calculation and payment. The Contract Technician also helps resolve system adjudication issues and identify corrections.

The position is within UHS Managed Care Contracting and works the day shift for 40 regularly scheduled hours per week. Compensation is $21.31–$30.90 per hour, depending on experience.

Nice To Haves

• An associate’s degree and/or four years of experience in revenue cycle, clinical, healthcare operations, information technology, or health information technology.
• Current Epic certification(s).

Responsibilities

• Review and improve the hospital, homecare, and physician contract management system within the Epic System.
• Validate HealthPlan payments.
• Audit expected reimbursement in the system and the components affecting reimbursement calculations and payments.
• Aid in resolving system adjudication issues and identifying corrections.
