About The Position

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a global leader in clinical diagnostics for over 90 years, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Contract Specialist. This role is crucial for driving operational excellence, mitigating risk, and enhancing customer experience and business outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a proactive, business-minded approach with strong critical thinking skills to analyze complex scenarios, develop solutions, and ensure accuracy. This customer-focused individual will also possess strong sales acumen and demonstrated leadership through influence, initiative, and mentorship to support revenue growth. The position reports to the Manager, Contract Administration within the Client Services department and is an on-site role in Brea, CA.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED
2+ years of contract experience or related field with proven ability in customer service, relationship building, and delivering high-quality outcomes (contract interpretation, understanding contract language)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree
Experience working with complex diagnostic contract structures and navigating ambiguity
Prior experience working with a sales team

Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, business partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and professional resolution of inquiries.
Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
Coordinate with customers, leadership, and cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless and effortless customer experience.
Manage the full contract lifecycle, including booking agreements, maintaining contract data, and ensuring compliance with billing, shipping, and contractual terms.
Partner with Sales to support renewals, prevent expirations, enable new placements, and research, analyze, and resolve complex issues related to pricing and contract terms.
