About The Position

This role is responsible for the solicitation, negotiation, award, and post-award administration of Information Technology software, hardware, maintenance, and services. The Contract Specialist III will execute day-to-day procurement activities supporting the Information Technology organization, including agreement/contract/amendment negotiation, contract administration, invoice resolution, and supplier relations management. The position contributes to Procurement goals by negotiating and executing Master Agreements and commercial strategies, supporting local implementation and compliance with Contracting Standards & Procedures, and driving continuous improvement in contracting processes. The role involves managing assigned categories effectively, mitigating procurement risks, reducing total cost of ownership, maintaining contract files, supporting audits, and resolving contract issues. Collaboration with Legal is essential to ensure compliance with P66 clause owner requirements and legal statutes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree or 8 years equivalent experience with Procurement and/or Information Technology business.
  • Experience with purchase orders, sourcing, negotiations, and contracting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, SAP, Icertis, and other procurement technologies.
  • Experience leading multiple Procurement initiatives concurrently across sourcing, contracting, materials management, and/or Procure-To-Pay (P2P).

  • Strong analytical, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with ability to negotiate and influence critical decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Solicitation, negotiation, award, and post award administration of Information Technology software, hardware, maintenance, and services.
  • Executing day-to-day procurement activities in support of the Information Technology organization, including but not limited to: Agreement/contract/amendment negotiation, Contract administration, Invoice resolution, supplier relations management, etc.
  • Contribute to Procurement goals and objectives by negotiating and executing Master Agreements and commercial strategies.
  • Support local implementation, adoption, and compliance with Contracting Standards & Procedures.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance and streamline contracting processes.
  • Manage assigned categories effectively and efficiently, with focus on high stakeholder engagement/management.
  • Mitigate procurement risks, while reducing total cost of ownership without negatively affecting value.
  • Maintain appropriate contract files in accordance with document retention policies.
  • Support periodic audit activities.
  • Resolve contract issues/disputes (pricing, quality, timing, claims, liens, etc.)
  • Collaborate with Legal to ensure compliance with all P66 clause owner requirements and legal statutes.
