About The Position

The role involves ideating, writing, and executing impactful digital fundraising and mobilization campaigns for 3-5 clients, covering advocacy, fundraising, and customer engagement. While email is a primary focus, paid media, SMS, and direct mail are growing areas of importance.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in digital fundraising, advocacy, product growth, or a similar field.
  • Impeccable writing skills and a strong desire to produce copy.
  • An equal interest in strategy and creative work.
  • Familiarity with email tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, EveryAction, or Luminate is essential.
  • Empathy, communication, respect, and the ability to act as a role model.
  • A passion for progressive causes.
  • A desire to take ownership and lead projects from start to finish.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with paid media or SMS campaigns is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop cross-channel digital campaigns (concepts, calendars, copy) to mobilize audiences for donations, advocacy, and engagement.
  • Write succinct and persuasive copy for email, paid media, and related channels.
  • Collaborate with analysts, strategists, and paid media planners to develop and optimize A/B tests.
  • Work with designers to bring creative ideas to life through graphics and copy.
  • Partner with email producers on platforms like EveryAction for audience targeting and donor conversion.
  • Manage rapid response moments.
  • Pitch concepts and present plans to client stakeholders as part of a team.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of social, political, and economic issues relevant to clients and stay current in the digital campaign discipline.
  • Stay informed about the latest digital campaign trends and develop strategic viewpoints on their application for clients.
  • Contribute to team knowledge and professional development through attending conferences/workshops and team meetings.
