About The Position

The Contract Recruiter will support the Productive Playhouse recruitment team by sourcing, identifying, and engaging qualified candidates across multiple language and project-based roles. This position plays a key role in building and maintaining a strong candidate pipeline and ensuring a seamless recruitment process. Working closely with the recruiters, this individual will manage candidate outreach, conduct initial screenings, and maintain accurate data within our tracking systems. This position focuses on early-stage recruiting activities and administrative support to the recruitment team. The role is ideal for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about connecting people to opportunities in a fast-paced, global environment with shifting priorities. This role does not make final hiring decisions and operates in partnership with the internal Recruitment Team.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in recruiting, sourcing, or a related administrative or HR function (internship or academic experience welcome).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a remote environment.
  • Familiarity with job boards, sourcing tools, or applicant tracking systems preferred.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working independently.
  • Tech-savvy and proficient with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail).

Nice To Haves

  • Interest in global hiring, languages, or international projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Identify candidates Using job boards, professional networks, and internal databases.
  • Review incoming applications and screen for basic qualifications and project requirements.
  • Conduct initial candidate outreach via email or messaging platforms to confirm interest and availability.
  • Maintain accurate and organized candidate data in our applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Support the coordination of interviews and candidate communication.
  • Collaborate with recruiters to understand project needs and hiring priorities.
  • Assist with posting and refreshing job advertisements across multiple platforms.
  • Provide regular status updates on candidate pipelines and sourcing progress.
