A Contract Manager will provide on-site guidance to Accenture's business/client units and project teams on contract management and policy compliance. This role involves initiating, tracking, and monitoring contract changes, deliverables, correspondence, and risks, while maintaining all associated documentation. The Contract Manager will ensure government contracts are managed in accordance with company policies, applicable laws, and customer requirements. Depending on the engagement's size and complexity, the role may manage multiple contracts or be dedicated to a single large engagement.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 7 years of contract management experience in a Federal Government contracting environment
  • Strong familiarity with General Services Administration (GSA) Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) contracts, Government-Wide Acquisition Contracts (GWACs), and Multi-Agency Contracts (MAC)
  • Ability to work independently under minimal guidance
  • Ability to meet deadlines that require a quick turnaround
  • Ability to obtain security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in managing reseller agreements, asset management, and software licensing/procurement is desired

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site advice to Accenture's business/client units and project teams on contract management and policy compliance matters.
  • Initiate, track, and monitor contract changes, deliverables, correspondence, and risks, and maintain associated documentation.
  • Enable the management of government contracts in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable laws, and customer requirements.
  • Respond to complex inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisions.
  • Identify risks and issues, and suggest alternatives that lead to the best solution.
  • Review and manage contractual obligations of the parties and provide continual review to ensure that all terms and conditions are met.
  • Prepare and disseminate information regarding contract status, compliance, modifications, etc.
  • Consult and escalate contractual, business, or Contract Management (CM) positioning issues to a CM and Program Leadership when not solved satisfactorily by the project team in a timely manner.
  • Implement CM processes.
  • Act as the primary contact between the project team and/or business unit and Legal, ensuring that all legal and contractual matters are addressed efficiently and promptly.
  • Act as liaison between Accenture and clients/vendors.
  • Inform the project team of the requirements of the contract and monitor compliance.
  • Develop and integrate contract management tools, templates, methods, and processes for the engagement.
  • Achieve a reasonable level of understanding of Accenture’s major business areas (System Integration and/or Outsourcing) to communicate effectively with project Senior Executives and provide relevant advice.
  • May provide training to Contract Management or program personnel.
