About The Position

Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Contract Manager in Mountain View, CA. This role involves liaising with account leadership, clients, and stakeholders to understand contract needs, support account strategy, and manage contract lifecycle. The position requires managing and developing a contract management team, identifying and resolving commercial and contract risks, and supporting pre-award sales activities. The Contract Manager will also build client relationships, review contractual obligations, prepare status reports, and act as a liaison between project teams and Legal.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Management, Business Administration, Legal Studies, Pre-Law, Political Science, or a related field.
  • 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in Contract Management.
  • 5 years of experience in Managing complex projects with a large cross-border team to ensure contract compliance and risk mitigation.
  • 5 years of experience in Supporting compliance in regulatory, tax, trade, and data privacy policies.
  • 5 years of experience in Building relationships and governance with internal business teams and clients.
  • 5 years of experience in Collaborating with internal or external client executives to influence and drive key commercial decisions and negotiate contracts.
  • 5 years of experience in Reviewing and negotiating complex commercial contract regulations, focusing on force majeure, dispute resolution, and payment terms.
  • 5 years of experience in Drafting commercial terms conditions for clients and subcontractors.
  • 5 years of experience in Implementing contract lifecycle management principles.
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with account leadership, client, commercial and business stakeholders to understand client contract needs and priorities, and support account strategy, objectives, and opportunities.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop contract management supporting team members taking responsibility for all performance management activities.
  • Responsible for identification, escalation and resolution of commercial and contract risks and issues working with leadership to ensure the best outcome for all parties.
  • Support pre-award sales activities, assist with deal shaping, negotiate commercial and contractual outcomes with sales teams and business leadership, including contract drafting support.
  • Build trusted relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Review and manage contractual obligations of the parties and provides continual review to ensure that all terms and conditions are met.
  • Prepare and disseminate information regarding contract status, compliance, modifications, etc.
  • Act as the primary contact between the project team and/or business unit and Legal, ensuring that all legal and contractual matters are addressed efficiently and promptly.

Benefits

  • The offered wage for this role is $175,000.00 per year.
