About The Position

Licking/Knox Goodwill Industries, Inc. provides training, employment, and support services to individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment. This role is responsible for managing contract services, including production, quality control, and employee supervision, to meet contract requirements. The position involves performing janitorial duties and operating heavy floor cleaning equipment.

Requirements

  • Supervisor experience required
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Good organizational skills and time management
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience in industry setting, with production, scheduling, customer service and quality control
  • Have a valid Ohio driver's license and current car insurance
  • Pass motor vehicle background check
  • Pass background check and drug screening
  • Bending, walk long distances, squatting, stooping, lift up to 25 pounds, climb stairs
  • Stand for 2 hours with break

Responsibilities

  • Manage 6-8 employees
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Schedule, coordinate, and manage production and quality control to meet contract requirements
  • Monitor and approve electronic timesheets for bi-weekly pay
  • Maintain accurate records, prepare reports as required
  • Ensure timely ordering of janitorial supplies without disrupting contract services
  • Perform janitorial duties including, mopping, sweeping, trash removal, restroom cleaning
  • Operate heavy floor cleaning equipment
  • All other duties as assigned
