About The Position

The Contract Manager will support OIT procurement operations by initiating, developing, and administering IT-related contracts. The role includes preparing solicitations (RFP, RFB, RFQ), managing RFIs, coordinating procurement lifecycle activities, facilitating legal and purchasing reviews, and ensuring contracts progress efficiently through approval workflows. Additionally, the consultant will monitor contract performance, expenditures, renewals, and compliance while maintaining thorough documentation and providing clear communication across all organizational levels.

Requirements

  • 2 years of contract management experience
  • 2 years of experience in IT administrative support
  • 4 years of experience with Microsoft Office tools
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Fundamental knowledge of infrastructure concepts
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, collaboratively, and manage multiple priorities

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of IT procurement within government (Federal, State, or Local)
  • Experience managing high-visibility enterprise programs

Responsibilities

  • Initiate, develop, and implement IT-related contracts
  • Prepare solicitations (RFP/RFB/RFQ) and RFIs, and manage associated documentation and vendor interactions
  • Execute end-to-end procurement lifecycle activities including kick-off meetings, document reviews, approval tracking, and coordination with legal and purchasing teams
  • Monitor financials including funding, burn rate, and expenditures
  • Support ongoing procurement operations such as supplier performance tracking, contract renewals, and dispute resolution
  • Maintain contract documentation (digital and hard copies)
  • Communicate contract processes, requirements, and updates across stakeholders
  • Coordinate schedules, meetings, agendas, minutes, and follow-ups for the Contract Office
  • Perform additional related duties as required
