The Provider Contract Associate is responsible for the accurate and timely administration of contract activity, and works with prospective and current providers to develop positive relationships. In addition to handling standard professional contract agreements (i.e. new provider intake applications, standard clinic contracts, and update rates for Critical Access Hospital/Rural Health Center/Federally Qualified Health Care providers), this position may provide project management for the annual ancillary network assessment process and closed network assessment process. The processes performed in the Network Management department are fundamental to delivering cost-effective, accessible care to subscribers. Since unit cost is one of the principal drivers of organizational profitability, close collaboration with other departments is required. The incumbent is required to identify and cultivate provider relationships. Performs other duties as assigned.
