About The Position

Crystal Clean is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Contract and Litigation Administrator to join our legal team. In this critical role, you will play a key part in managing our contracts, ensuring compliance, and supporting litigation efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Paralegal Studies, or a related field.
  • Minimum 0-2 years of experience in contract management or a related legal role.
  • Team player mentality, great personality
  • Proven ability to analyze complex legal documents and identify potential issues.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal research databases.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with contract management software a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Contract Management:
  • Analyze, review, and draft various contracts, including service agreements with clients, vendor agreements, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), and purchase orders.
  • Negotiate contract terms related to environmental services, ensuring alignment with company policies, industry standards, and all relevant environmental regulations.
  • Maintain a comprehensive contract database and track key deadlines and milestones for contract execution and performance.
  • Assist internal departments with contract interpretation and develop risk mitigation strategies for environmental services agreements.
  • Litigation Support:
  • Work closely with internal and external counsel to manage litigation matters, including document collection, regulatory compliance, witness interviews, and case preparation.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare summaries of relevant case law and regulations impacting the environmental services industry.
  • Prepare summaries of relevant cases and help build case strategies for litigation.
  • Manage e-discovery processes and ensure adherence to legal holds and data preservation protocols for response efforts.
  • Additional Responsibilities:
  • Stay up to date on evolving environmental regulations and relevant legal developments impacting the industry.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with internal departments (e.g., operations, compliance) to understand legal implications of services we provide.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of internal policies and procedures related to environmental contracts and risk management.
