About The Position

This will be a 3-month assignment but could be extended longer if business needs dictate. The Temporary Intermediate FINRA Contract Recruiter must be a multi-tasker with the ability to work well independently and as part of a team, to meet tight timelines, identifying and reaching out to candidates, communicating with applicants, interviewing and/or assessing candidates to ensure a good fit, and keeping in touch with hiring managers to stay informed of upcoming needs. Develop innovative recruiting strategies to attract top talent. Act as a liaison for potential candidates, generate and follow up on leads, perform initial telephone screens, keep accurate records of potential candidates, follow up with established recruits, support team members and other division teams as necessary. Please note this is a temporary contract position that is not eligible for Transamerica's benefits

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in a relevant field or equivalent education and/or experience
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Human Resources and/or Recruiting
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Applicants must possess legal authorization to work for our company in the U.S. without the need for immigration, sponsorship or otherwise serving as an employer of record for immigration employment purposes.

  • Direct FINRA recruiting experience

Responsibilities

  • Work with hiring managers to understand the requirements of each role.
  • Ability to execute on exempt and non-exempt positions
  • Ability to tell recruiting story based on data and present to clients
  • Minimize risk by maintaining proper documentation
  • Identify and reach out to prospective candidates through traditional and creative sourcing methods including but not limited to: internal database searches, LinkedIn, Indeed and other social media searches, and job board resume searches.
  • Screen resumes to determine which candidates meet the minimum requirements and screen applicants through phone and video interviews.
  • Administrating skill assessments where required to verify candidate capabilities and knowledge.
  • Qualify candidates and conduct screening calls and in-person/video interviews.
  • Coordinate and assist in scheduling client interviews, including candidate interview preparation and debriefing.
  • Facilitate the offer process by extending offer and negotiating employment terms.
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during selection process.
  • Maintaining a pipeline of candidates using effective sourcing strategies and utilize creative recruiting methods to source new talent in untapped markets.
  • Recruits, screens, and interviews internal and external applicants to fill current or expected job vacancies.
  • Reviews and evaluates applicants work history, education, training, and other qualifications.
  • Notifies applicants of consideration or rejection; interviews those selected that meet organizations qualifications.
  • Informs candidates of jobs duties/responsibilities, compensation and benefits programs, work schedule/conditions, career advancement opportunities, etc.
  • Conducts and scores, or arranges for, testing of applicants, records results and other relevant information.
  • Prepares and extends job offers; or authorizes appropriate paperwork.
