About The Position

The Department of Physics at Seton Hall University invites applications to fill a full-time contract teaching position beginning the Fall 2026 semester. A Ph.D. in Physics or related field is required. The candidate is expected to teach all levels of Physics courses. We seek a candidate who demonstrates excellence in teaching lectures and laboratory courses at all levels, especially to students of diverse backgrounds. Seton Hall University is located in South Orange, New Jersey, 14 miles from New York City. It is the oldest Catholic diocesan institution of higher education in the United States and is home to about 6,300 undergraduate and 4,700 graduate students. Requirements

  • A Ph.D. in Physics or related field is required.
