About The Position

Centreville Bank is seeking an experienced Contract Designer/Creative Consultant to join our team for a 6+ month assignment, with the potential to assess long-term needs as the assignment progresses. This position will serve as an in-house creative powerhouse, supporting the hands-on development of a variety of creative assets. The Designer/Creative consultant will act as a steward of the Centreville Bank brand, seamlessly blending strategic creative direction with tactical execution. This individual will also partner and provide direction to external agencies, firms & creative resources to ensure that they are delivering high-quality, brand compliant assets. Additionally, this individual will help further establish creative systems, frameworks and workflows to improve the efficiency of the creative development process. Under the general direction of the VP, Marketing & Brand Strategy, the Designer/Creative Consultant will work on print, digital, video and retail merchandising creative deliverables. The Designer/Creative Consultant will collaborate closely with Marketing campaign owners and internal/external stakeholders to support Marketing and Communications strategies that contribute the bank’s awareness, acquisition and retention goals.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing or relevant creative production field
  • 10+ years of professional creative experience, with demonstrated leadership in brand management/evolution.
  • Expert level proficiency in professional creative tools, including Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Premier Pro/Final Cut Pro.
  • Experience working with or maintaining a digital asset management tool.
  • Experience working within creative operation tools and workflow (Wrike experience strongly preferred)
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful creative governance/frameworks
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders on translating strategic vision into effective creative assets.
  • Prior consulting or contract-based leadership is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and produce high-quality creative assets across print, digital, video, retail and multi-media channels.
  • Provide creative direction and feedback to creative resources and agencies, elevating quality and consistency
  • Ensure compliance with the bank’s brand standards and visual identity across all creative outputs.
  • Drive improvements/enhancements to the bank’s brand standards as creative needs/use cases continue to evolve.
  • Develop and enhance creative frameworks that enable faster, more efficient production
  • Lead the selection, onboarding, configuration of a digital asset management system.
  • Establish standards, taxonomy and creative governance to ensure assets are easily accessible, current, and brand-compliant.
  • Partner with relevant stakeholders to drive adoption and best practices for creative templates/asset usage.
  • Support the coordination and management of external creative vendors, agencies, photographers, videographers and freelancers.
  • Ensure external resources meet quality expectations, brand standards, production timelines and budget requirements.
  • Partner with Marketing campaign owners to support creative development process.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for outsourced creative projects.
