About The Position

The Contract Coordinator provides support to Legal Services by analyzing and facilitating the workflow process for existing contracts within the contract management software. This position maintains all utilized programs, databases, generates pre-configured reports, configures new impromptu reports based on specific department requests, and schedules department reports as needed. Responsibilities include ensuring executed agreements are processed consistently and accurately in accordance with the organization's guidelines and forwards all completed contracts to the Finance department at the end of each workflow process. Additionally, the Contract Coordinator provides a high level of customer service to all departments within the organization to facilitate an efficient and streamlined contract process.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, General Education Development (GED) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
  • 2 years of experience in a general office or customer service setting required
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, 365)>
  • Must be "extremely" detail oriented.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's Degree or higher preferred
  • Contracting experience in a large hospital or multi-hospital system preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provides a high level of customer service to all departments within the organization to facilitate an efficient and streamlined contract process.
  • Maintain data integrity in existing Contract Administration database(s) throughout contract lifecycles.
  • Review documents for upload to Contract Administration database(s) for accuracy and ensures all necessary exhibits and attachments are present.
  • Facilitate the workflow process for review and approval of contracts submitted to Contract Administration’s contract management software.
  • Monitor Contract Administration email box and responds accordingly to inquiries, including providing clarification of contract and operational requirements.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement and cost reduction opportunities of the department to improve the efficiency of existing processes.
