This role provides fair, equitable, respectful, and culturally relevant service to First Nations children and families, consistent with the vision, mission, and values of Kunuwanimano. The Case Aide Worker will arrange transportation for children to various appointments, visits, meetings, and court. They will ensure client records, documents, case recordings, and case notes are up to date. The position involves transporting children and youth to scheduled activities, events, appointments, and access visits, ensuring punctuality and safety. The role also includes completing administrative functions, reports, and adhering to agency policies and procedures, while maintaining confidentiality and safe-keeping of all agency documents and records. Developing and maintaining accurate work files, reporting on progress or pertinent information observed by the child or youth to their worker, and working in compliance with relevant legislation are key responsibilities. The role requires preparing and submitting monthly reports, attendance records, and travel expense claims. Additionally, the Case Aide Worker will participate on internal committees and work teams as required, and provide support to the service team during investigations of child abuse allegations, including conducting thorough records checks. The ability to work independently and as a team member, and willingness to assume additional duties as required, is essential.
