About The Position

This role will primarily support Enterprise Security (Cybersecurity) from a Procurement/Supply Chain perspective. The position is contract-to-hire with a hybrid work schedule, requiring 3 days per week onsite in Columbus, OH. Equipment will be provided. The role involves managing contract formation and administration for various indirect material purchases, negotiating commercial terms, and providing Supply Chain Management advice.

Requirements

  • BS Degree – 3+ years of experience. Without University degree - 4+ years of experience.
  • Requires considerable knowledge and makes decisions based on policy.
  • Manages problems that are unique and that require independent thinking.
  • Has a solid understanding of specific goods and vendors.
  • Focused on supporting cost savings initiative for specific category.
  • Makes decisions and recommendations within established guidelines, procedures or polices and up to those within authorized limits.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant experience in Enterprise Security (Cybersecurity) from a Procurement/Supply Chain perspective is preferred.
  • SAP Ariba CLM experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the contract formation and/or contract administration process for various indirect material purchases
  • Develop, issue and manage tender documents (RFPs, RFQ, RFIs, etc.)
  • Negotiate contract commercial terms, ensuring they meet requirements of internal stakeholders (i.e., risk, legal, project management, etc.) and company standards
  • Administer multiple contracts including issuance of change order requests, negotiation and approval of change orders, RFI's, etc.
  • Lead proposal analyses and proposal commercial evaluations
  • Coordinate overall RFP evaluations with project clients
  • Provide sound Supply Chain Management advice, guidance, and options to internal project clients while following established processes and proper authorization controls
  • Develop and articulate project and contract acquisition strategies within area of responsibility and communicate strategies to project clients and Senior Management
  • Manage competitive sourcing processes and single/sole sourcing processes for major contracts
  • Work with cross-functional teams during contract tendering, formation, administration and negotiation
  • Coordinate communication efforts with suppliers, team members, company experts, and advisors (legal, risk, tax, supplier qualification, etc.)
  • Conduct market and competitive intelligence research and analysis within area of responsibility
  • Maintain contract records in ERP (SAP Ariba), ensuring governance requirements are met at all times
