The Contract Administrator is accountable for handling administrative tasks in the contract review process and within the Legal Department. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year College or University and one year of related experience preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience are also considered.
  • Requires excellent writing and interpersonal skills.
  • Reads, understands, and flags contracts.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organizational skills, administrative skills, and multitasking ability.
  • Strong attention to detail skills.
  • Ability to type 40 words per minute.
  • Proficient computer knowledge in a Microsoft Windows environment.
  • Intermediate skills using MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Must have the ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of ServiceNow and Asset Management Processes a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare contracts for legal review by converting them into editable Word format, marking sections for each department’s review, downloading linked documents, and ensuring exhibits are included.
  • Coordinate between different departments to facilitate obtaining feedback on different parts of the contract.
  • Pass contracts to Contract Specialists for legal review.
  • Send finalized contract for signature.
  • Perform and participate in company audits by providing documentation.
  • Prepare reports and data on contract review process, KPIs, etc.
  • Maintain the customer contract database by uploading signed contracts into the database in a timely manner, using proscribed naming conventions and tags.
  • Answer administrative questions about the contract review process.
  • Update policies, procedures, and training documents as requested by management and Contract Specialists.
  • Keep abreast of industry corporate trends and developments.
  • Other duties as assigned.
