The PHLpreK Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Coordinator coordinates engagement and targeted support between and with the Quality Support Center (QSC), the Intermediary, Early Learning Resource Center (ELRC), and other early childhood system quality supports related to compliance escalation (e.g., quality improvement plans and corrective action plans), new provider onboarding, growth providers (<STAR 3), and grievance follow-up and investigations. The CQI Coordinator will primarily focus on those PHLpreK programs that require a high level of monitoring. The CQI Coordinator will manage increased monitoring process and technical assistance for health and safety deficiencies and PHLpreK service delivery. The CQI Coordinator reviews and analyzes compliance monitoring results and coordinates technical assistance quality supports to ensure that programs are meeting high-quality PHLpreK program requirements. This role conducts program observations with a specific focus on health and safety, reviews documentation, completes and monitors progress on corrective action plans. The CQI Coordinator will train and coach other staff on completion of the health and safety observations. The CQI Coordinator applies extensive expertise in early childhood education, understanding of PHLpreK contract and program requirements, and available resources to support providers in meeting performance improvement goals. In coordination with PHLpreK Intermediary management, the CQI Coordinator will liaise with the QSC, the City ECE division, ELRC, state and city DHS as needed, and other stakeholders as required. This role is under the direct supervision of the PHLpreK Provider Services Senior Manager and works closely with all other members of the PHLpreK management team.
