About The Position

The Kinetic Group is a world leader in the design, manufacturing, and distribution of small caliber ammunition. Remington is seeking a Continuous Improvement Technician to assist Continuous Improvement (CI) professionals and other site employees in the execution of kaizen activities through builds in the CI shop and the Print Shop. The application of lean concepts, problem solving skills and good communication will be central to this position. This position reports to the Director of Continuous Improvement and is located out of our office in Lonoke, Arkansas.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to read and interpret drawings
Good problem solving skills and analytical ability
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Basic writing and math skills
Self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
Personal computer skills; including Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point
Driver’s license required

Nice To Haves

3 years of technical/mechanical experience preferred
Knowledge of production processes preferred
Hands on experience using basic hand tools and power tools preferred
Experience working cross functionally with many teams to accomplish a shared goal
Experience in AutoCAD or similar design programs
Experience with Graphtec or similar software
Forklift and scissorlift experience

Responsibilities

Assist in key process improvement assignments both mechanical and administrative
Complete kaizen shop work orders and CI team requests
Perform print shop related duties
Support implementation of new processes and improve current processes within the facility
Measuring the performance of improvements
Support 5S and kaizen event activities
Other duties as assigned
