What impact you will make: As a Continuous Improvement / Manufacturing Engineering Co-op within the METEM team, you will be an active contributor to tackling one of the world’s toughest challenges: providing cleaner, more accessible energy. You will apply Lean methodologies and engineering principles to optimize non-traditional machining processes that support the global power generation fleet. Depending on your background, you will engage in one of the following technology areas: Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) & Fast Hole Drilling (FHD): Gaining experience in non-traditional machining technologies to support turbine nozzles and buckets. Electrochemical Machining (ECM): Applying engineering and chemistry skills in specialized industrial electrochemistry, providing a foundation for future growth in battery or fuel cell research.
