About The Position

MCC’s Continuing Education Division is seeking enthusiastic and experienced non-credit instructors with Nonprofit Administration expertise to provide personal enrichment opportunities to members of our community. Instructors will suggest course topics and/or be assigned classes on basic nonprofit administration, grant writing, planning, and team management. This position will have various teaching opportunities throughout the year and will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging and practical course content that enhances students’ personal growth and enriches their lives.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in nonprofit administration and trends therein.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage diverse learners.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs.

Nice To Haves

  • A degree in Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, Social Work, Leadership, Business, or a related field is preferred
  • Experience working in a leadership or grant writing role at a nonprofit organization is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging Nonprofit Administration curriculum and lesson plans tailored to students’ varying proficiency levels.
  • Conduct interactive classroom sessions in the following areas of Nonprofit Administration: grant writing, planning and team management.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Organize and facilitate in-class related activities.
