About The Position
This position provides personal care and activities of daily living for clients, patients, and residents to encourage their optimum level of functioning. The role supports clients, patients, and residents in meeting their physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual needs.
Requirements
- Continuing Care Assistant certificate (CCA)
- Communication skills
- Basic - Computer skills
- Organizational skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently
- Food Safe certificate, where required
- Valid driver's license, where required
- Bring a valid Criminal Record Check (CRC) to the interview; it must be dated within six (6) months and include a vulnerable sector search.
Responsibilities
- Provides personal care and activities of daily living for clients/patients/residents to encourage optimum level of functioning.
- Supports clients/patients/residents in meeting their physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual needs.
