About The Position

Trinity Health Ann Arbor is a 560-bed teaching hospital recognized by IBM Watson as a Top 100 Hospital and #1 Teaching Hospital. The 8E Medical/Surgical Unit specializes in a wide variety of general surgery patients, including Colorectal, hepatobiliary, thyroid/parathyroid, and vascular trauma. The Contingent Unit Clerk provides support for patients, visitors, and colleagues on assigned nursing units. This role facilitates efficient patient throughput, including admissions, discharges, and transfers. The clerk supports patient experience and culture of safety goals through equipment maintenance, unit supplies, unit appearance, and overall environment of care. Additionally, the role provides reception-type services to patients, families, visitors, and other unit guests.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Three to six months previous related experience
