Requirements
- Current CNA certification in the state of Michigan.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach with sensitivity to the needs of terminally ill patients and their families.
- Reliable transportation to travel to patient homes around Michigan.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in hospice, home health, or a related healthcare setting preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist hospice patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Monitor and report changes in patients’ conditions to the supervising nurse or healthcare team.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families, promoting comfort and quality of life.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care and patient observations in compliance with care plans.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
