About The Position
Our Omaha client, in restoration, is seeking to add a NEW Contents Restoration Manager to their team. The Contents Manager will oversee contents restoration projects from start to finish, including pack-outs, inventory, cleaning, storage, and pack-backs. This role combines team leadership, customer communication, project coordination, and field operations to ensure projects are completed efficiently, professionally, and to a high standard.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in contents cleaning, restoration, or a related field
- Valid driver’s license required
Nice To Haves
- Previous supervisory or management experience preferred
- Experience working with fire, water, smoke, and other damaged contents strongly preferred
- Knowledge of contents inventory systems, pack-outs, cleaning processes, storage, and pack-back procedures
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Industry certifications are a plus
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of contents restoration projects from initial assignment through completion
- Manage the customer experience and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
- Coordinate pack-outs, inventory, contents cleaning, storage, and pack-back operations
- Schedule and coordinate crews, subcontractors, equipment, and other resources
- Monitor project timelines, workflow, and completion to ensure jobs remain on track
- Inspect contents cleaning and restoration work to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain accurate project documentation, inventory records, and job files
- Communicate effectively with customers, insurance adjusters, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Monitor contents-related expenses, equipment, supplies, and materials
- Lead, train, coach, and supervise Contents Technicians and team leads
- Recruit, develop, and retain members of the contents team
- Establish accountability and promote a positive, team-oriented work environment
- Ensure employees follow safe work practices and company policies
- Respond to emergency service calls and provide operational support as needed
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, customer service, and overall contents operations
- Stay current on industry practices, restoration procedures, and contents restoration techniques
- Perform other duties as assigned
