About The Position

We help homeowners and businesses restore their property—and peace of mind—after unexpected damage. As a Contents Recovery Technician with Paul Davis Restoration, you'll work on-site in homes and businesses after water, fire, mold, or smoke damage. You'll help customers by carefully documenting, packing, moving, and protecting their belongings, transporting them to our facility for cleaning and restoration, and returning them once the property is ready.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
No prior experience required — training provided
Comfortable working in a variety of environments, including extreme temperatures
Able to lift and move furniture, boxes, and equipment
Strong communication and customer service skills
Able to follow instructions and stay organized
Willingness to learn and follow proper procedures
Positive attitude and ability to work well on a team
Ability to safely use cleaning products and equipment (training provided)
Able to pass a respirator physical and fit test
High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of practices and procedures of water, fire, mold, and asbestos trades preferred
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, solutions, and use of solvents
IICRC certified in any area is a plus

Responsibilities

Provide friendly, respectful customer service throughout the restoration process
Pack, move, and protect customers’ belongings with care
Clean and restore items damaged by smoke, fire, or other events
Document items and work completed during pack-out and cleaning
Treat customers’ homes and property with utmost respect at all times
Assist with additional tasks as assigned by a supervisor
