About The Position

As a Contents & Pack-Out Technician with Paul Davis Restoration, you will work on-site in homes and businesses after water, fire, mold, or smoke damage. You will help customers by documenting, packing, moving, and protecting their belongings; transporting items to the company facility for cleaning and restoration; and returning them once the property is ready. Strong packing skills and exceptional attention to detail are highly preferred. No prior experience is required, and training is provided.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
• Comfort working in a variety of environments, including extreme temperatures.
• Ability to lift and move furniture, boxes, and equipment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and stay organized.
• Willingness to learn and follow proper procedures.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well on a team.
• Ability to safely use cleaning products and equipment; training is provided.
• Ability to pass a respirator physical and fit test.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to handle the stated physical demands, including lifting, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and repetitive hand and arm movements.

Nice To Haves

• Strong packing skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Knowledge of practices and procedures of water, fire, mold, and asbestos trades.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, solutions, and use of solvents.
• IICRC certification in any area.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, respectful customer service throughout the restoration process.
• Pack, move, and protect customers’ belongings with care.
• Clean and restore items damaged by smoke, fire, or other events.
• Document items and work completed during pack-out and cleaning.
• Treat customers’ homes and property with respect at all times.
• Assist with additional tasks as assigned by a supervisor.
