About The Position

This position will be responsible for assisting full content team creating content for all the team verticals including but not limited to: social media and event presentation graphics, merchandise graphics, videographer and photographer for special events, content shoots and game day.

Requirements

• Bachelors’ Degree in Marketing or a related field
• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop CC, Adobe Illustrator CC, Adobe InDesign CC, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Previous experience with FTP and file sharing websites both in software and web interfaces
• Strong organizational skills, time management skills and attention to detail
• Ability to brainstorm and collaborate on creative ideas with staff
• Ability to meet aggressive deadlines and work well under pressure
• Ability to work independently without supervision, is self-directed and demonstrates initiative
• Offers creative ideas and suggestions
• In lieu of a Degree and previously mentioned experience, 4 years of experience working with a collegiate or professional sports team in a graphic design capacity may be considered
• Must be able to travel overnight and have dependable transportation
• Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

Nice To Haves

• Experience with back end development: HTML5 (Semantic), CSS3, JavaScript (ES6)
• Experience with SVG Animations
• Experience with CMS
• Bonus if you have experience with: Microdata, Meta Tags for SEO, Node.js, React with Hooks, Jest Unit Testing
• Experience in free hand animation and Waycomm Software
• Knowledge of the team, the WNBA and the property
• Knowledge of Mohegan Sun corporate and department policies and procedures
• Mohegan Sun CER and purchasing procedures

Responsibilities

• Creates graphics for advertising, event presentation, merchandise, social media and other forms of media as needed
• Photographer for events as needed including but not limited to: media day, player social media shoots, game night
• Videographer for events as needed including but not limited to: media day, player social media shoots, game night
• Contributes to marketing and social media creative ideas and campaigns
• Daily communication with respective departments they are creating content for
• Participates in team business planning
