The Police Athletic League (PAL) of New York City is an independent youth development nonprofit organization serving children and young adults across all five boroughs since 1914. PAL offers diverse programs including Head Start, after-school programs, summer day camps, evening teen centers, college readiness programs, youth employment, and juvenile justice programs, with a strong emphasis on sports. PAL is seeking Content Specialists to enhance its out-of-school programming, which may include SEL, STEM, Literacy, Sports, Arts, Mental Health, and College and Career Access Programming for youth from Elementary to High School. This role is a key part of the leadership team, reporting directly to the Program Director, and is responsible for supporting frontline staff in effective program implementation to ensure program quality. Familiarity with SACC regulations and DYCD funding requirements is advantageous. The ideal candidates will be dedicated to learning and implementing best practices in youth development, supportive of youth, staff, and community initiatives, possess excellent communication and listening skills, and work collaboratively to support PAL’s city-wide programming.
