The Police Athletic League (PAL) of New York City is an independent youth development nonprofit organization that has been serving children and young adults since 1914. PAL operates diverse programs including Head Start, after-school programs, summer day camps, evening teen centers, college readiness programs, youth employment, and juvenile justice programs. PAL is looking for Content Specialists to elevate its out-of-school programming, serving youth from Elementary to High School through various program areas such as SEL, STEM, Literacy, Sports, Arts, Mental Health, and College and Career Access. This position is a key member of the leadership team, reporting directly to the Program Director. Content Specialists are crucial for establishing and maintaining program quality by supporting frontline staff in the effective implementation of program activities. Familiarity with SACC regulations and DYCD funding requirements is a plus. Candidates should be dedicated to learning and implementing Best Practices in youth development, support the ideas of youth, staff, and community, possess excellent communication and listening skills, and work collaboratively to support PAL's programming.
