About The Position

The Content Production Manager (CPM) at Kinder's will play a pivotal role in our efforts to scale our content production efforts as part of our ongoing transition to more brand-focused storytelling in our marketing approach. In this role, you will work closely with the Senior Content Producer, Content Producer, Chief Brand Officer, and other Marketing leaders to execute the production of branded visual content – including both video and still content. The CPM will be responsible for working with senior Creative leaders to understand key content needs and to manage the content production process from pre-production through post-production, ensuring that projects are produced at the highest standards and are completed on time and efficiently. This role requires a results-oriented team member with strong creative skills, an ability to embrace the Company’s brand voice, a willingness to roll up their sleeves and solve problems in real-time, strong communication skills, project management discipline, personal accountability, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally. This role will report to the Company’s Senior Content Producer.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in video production management.
  • Strong attention to detail with a passion for getting things right whatever it takes.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to coordinate complex projects with a wide range of stakeholders and drive on-time project delivery.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong understanding of production methodology and technology as well as typical on-set and post-production practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Nice To Haves

  • CPG or food industry experience a plus (but not required).
  • Experience in project management tools a plus (we currently use Wrike and StudioBinder).

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Video Production and Creative teams to align on project briefs and key objectives.
  • Build and manage detailed production calendars to meet delivery timelines.
  • Coordinate and supervise production of still and video shoots for use in advertising, social media, digital, in-store, and other brand activations.
  • Manage production resources (studios, locations, equipment) and personnel (third-party vendors or in-house).
  • Hire crew in coordination with producers and department heads. Negotiate rates, contracts, and deal memos.
  • Ensure labor agreements and best practices during production are followed
  • Act as the main point of contact for department heads on logistical issues
  • Secure locations, stages, insurance, and permits
  • Arrange transportation, lodging, catering, and equipment rentals
  • Ensure timely delivery of final assets, including proper versioning for different platforms and formats.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all production related activities and communications including contracts, deal memos, budgets, calendars, clearances, releases, timecards, Schedule Fs, etc.
  • Act as a bridge between creative producers and production team members - translating ideas into actionable plans.
  • Stay informed on evolving production technologies and workflows to identify opportunities for improving creative execution while also building a cost-efficient, highly flexible approach.
  • Become conversant in the Company’s core business and evolving goals.
