About The Position

We are a multi-platform production company, social media agency, and digital media network seeking a Content Producer to join our Social Video Services team. This role is responsible for ideating and creating video content for YouTube and social video platforms, with a focus on creative content production rooted in strategy. The ideal candidate will have capabilities in producing, editing, and shooting video, as well as providing channel and platform operations support and account management. The Content Producer will support social-first capture events and projects requiring high creative output. This role may assist the production team in executing shoots and mining assets for post-production content. Additionally, it may support the Client Development team in building decks, ideating proposals, or creating mock content. Daily tasks include ideating creative concepts, high-level thumbnail design, clip video editing, copywriting, YouTube channel maintenance, and delegation/team management.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of social media and/or related digital marketing experience
  • Strong interest in Action, Fantasy, and Animated film and TV content
  • Strong proactivity and client and project management skills
  • Detail oriented and responsible
  • Team management experience
  • Excellent knowledge of YouTube and social video platforms and a clear awareness of the differences between them when it comes to effective native video content
  • A mastery of YouTube and social platforms analytics and how they should inform platform-specific creative
  • Skills in Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, and After Effects
  • Experience producing social video (creative ideation and timecode mapping) and shooting content (in person)
  • Highly creative, online native, and constantly up to date on social trends
  • Great communication, both written and verbal
  • Excellent client management skills with demonstrable experience
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to proof-check your own work
  • Team player with a hard-working flexible attitude, a good sense of humor and an interest in working in a dynamic start-up environment
  • Candidates must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
  • Experience creating and delivering scripts for longform pieces, preferably for brands or clients on YouTube
  • Voice Over experience, preferably for brands or clients on YouTube, and comfort with scripted VO
  • Experience with editing longform and shortform content on Premiere Pro
  • Experience with motion graphics and templates

Responsibilities

  • Ideating creative video concepts for globally known brands on social video platforms
  • Using a blend of platform data, current trends, and creative instincts to inform channel strategy
  • Assisting with Concept Delivery Docs for upcoming client campaigns
  • Management of client publishing calendars and project management tools
  • Working with clients to communicate footage deliverables needed for screening links ahead of ideation and download links ahead of clip pulls for editors
  • Effectively communicating and/or pitching ideas to internal teams and clients
  • Creation of eye-catching images, GIFs, and social posts
  • Writing compelling on-brand copy for posts, understanding the importance of editorial voice and tone
  • Using platform analytics to help inform strategic decisions
  • Social video production and video editing in real time
  • Mining and managing video assets and content catalogs
  • Support in creative slides within deck proposals
  • Potentially manage team members
  • Researching, scripting, voiceover, and executing elevated edits for longform and shortform content
