About The Position

Babcox Media Inc. is a leading B2B multimedia company serving various industries including automotive aftermarket, powersports, performance, collision, commercial fleet, dealership, engine building, and tire industries. With over 100 years of experience, Babcox is evolving its strategies across digital, video, social media, and AI-driven content. The company is seeking a creative and digitally fluent Content Producer to develop compelling multimedia content for its industry-leading brands. This role involves a strong focus on storytelling, connecting editorial content, social media engagement, video production, and audience development to foster brand growth and achieve business objectives. The Content Producer will create content that informs, educates, and engages audiences across print, digital, social media, video, and emerging platforms, utilizing modern tools, analytics, and AI.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Broadcasting, Marketing, Digital Media, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of editorial, social media, multimedia, or video production experience.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Premiere Pro and Photoshop.
  • Knowledge of SEO, analytics platforms, social media best practices, and AI content tools.
  • Strong writing, editing, verbal communication, and storytelling skills.
  • Knowledge of AP Style and strong attention to editorial accuracy and detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
  • High level of professionalism, creativity, initiative, and adaptability.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Manage editorial production across print, digital, social media, video, and events.
  • Write, edit, and publish news stories, feature articles, branded content, and multimedia assets.
  • Collaborate with editorial leadership on content strategy, audience engagement, and editorial calendars.
  • Create platform-specific content for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, and emerging social channels.
  • Produce videos from concept through final delivery, including scripting, storyboarding, filming, editing, and distribution.
  • Direct talent and serve as an on-camera host when appropriate.
  • Analyze content performance metrics and audience behavior to optimize engagement and reach.
  • Maintain editorial standards, AP Style consistency, and brand voice across all platforms.
  • Leverage AI-powered tools and digital technologies to enhance content creation, workflow efficiency, and audience insights.
  • Partner cross-functionally with editorial, marketing, sales, and operations teams to support strategic initiatives and integrated campaigns.
