About The Position

Brafton is a leading content marketing firm seeking a remote, full-time Content Marketing Strategist for candidates in Eastern or Atlantic time zone Canada. The ideal candidate is client-focused, self-motivated, digitally-savvy, and results-driven. This role involves account management, content marketing strategy development, revenue retention and growth, and project management. You will consult, strategize, and manage the execution of custom content strategies for mid-to-large scale organizations, demonstrating success through ROI reporting and client objective achievement. Success is measured by client retention and account growth, with opportunities for incentives. While primarily remote, some travel may be required.

Requirements

• Relevant Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum of 3-5 years proven experience in Account Management and/or experience and demonstrated knowledge/expertise in latest content marketing/SEO strategy trends.
• Understanding of what makes a great content strategy and a keen eye for displaying content optimizing UX best practices.
• Phenomenal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a client portfolio of 20-25 clients (mid-large scale organizations across various industries).
• Develop and maintain multi-faceted content marketing strategies, including research, interpretation, and presentation of statistical reporting.
• Drive client retention and account growth through effective strategy and sales of new initiatives.
• Create statements of work that align with client business objectives.
• Manage the execution and integration of custom content strategies with Brafton's content creation teams (editorial, graphics, video, social media) and web integration team.
• Report on strategy success through ROI reporting and delivery against client objectives.
