About The Position

We’re looking for a content marketing manager to perform keyword and industry research, optimize content for SEO, build content calendars, and assist with strategic content-led initiatives. Reporting to the director of content marketing, this role should be a perfect balance of creative and strategic: Someone who enjoys storytelling — and knows how to analyze content marketing performance to recommend improvements that are worth the lift.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, media, or related field
  • 5+ years in content marketing and previous experience developing B2B content calendars
  • Experience writing content (primarily blogs, long-form guides, and landing pages) and optimizing it for SEO
  • Proficiency in content management systems (HubSpot preferred)
  • Exposure to performance data and analyzing content marketing metrics
  • Interest in managing others and training them up on key skills
  • Strategic thinker who can adapt, pivot, and stay ahead of industry trends
  • Strong communicator
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortability managing multiple brand style guidelines and preferences
  • Ability to meet hard deadlines and communicate project status updates

Responsibilities

  • Manage blog content calendars for a variety of in-house brands
  • Perform industry and keyword research to discover new content opportunities
  • Ideate, execute, and measure the performance of content offers
  • Identify necessary content refreshes and optimizations
  • Write and review copy (primarily long-form) as needed
  • Assist in launching targeted marketing campaigns
  • Mentor a small team of content specialists
