About The Position

The primary purpose of this position is to support the processes of content and facilitation development of the online course developed through state initiatives. This position may be partially or completely funded using grant and/or federal monies and is assigned programs to include activities designed to enhance the effective and coordinated use of funds.

Requirements

• Texas Teacher Certification
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 2 year supporting state-wide initiatives
• 2 years of content development for state-wide projects
• 5 years of successful classroom teaching experience

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual Education Certification is preferred
• Administrator Certification is preferred
• Master's degree is preferred
• Administrator experience is preferred

• Emphasizes critical thinking and problem-solving
• Models high-impact instructional strategies across learning environments
• Demonstrates effective facilitation planning and delivery
• Creates, distributes, and tracks learning using a learning management system
• Differentiates instruction for the success of all learners
• Embeds literacy-rich practices (speaking, reading, writing) in all learning experiences
• Incorporates formative and summative assessments
• Models high expectations and learning transfer
• Demonstrates sensitivity to adult learning needs
• Enhances customer experience
• Uses the adaptive action cycle to improve products, services, and experiences
• Utilizes multiple metrics to evaluate service impact
• Serves as a brand ambassador across departments, regions, and the state
• Demonstrates knowledge of evolving state and legal requirements and their impact
• Develops and conducts professional development for cohort leaders statewide
• Supports cohort leaders in content knowledge and coaching principles
• Supports state agencies in developing content modules for Texas Reading Academies and related programs
• Prepares reports on content development, cohort leader training needs, and facilitation material effectiveness
• Attend work daily in order to meet the goals and objectives of the ESC.
• Preform other duties as assigned
