About The Position

Join the Nalley Consulting team as a Content Editor. This role involves analyzing and evaluating products through technical editorial support, ensuring administrative and production requirements associated with military capabilities, capacity, readiness, military policy, strategy and doctrine and their operating environments are met. The Content Editor will read and evaluate intelligence products, ensure defense tradecraft standards are met, and evaluate for inconsistencies of thought, development, or organization. This position requires conferring with authors to recommend treatment of material, and performing reorganization, cuts, or rewrites as necessary, along with editing copy.

Requirements

3+ years of experience with editing and written document production
3+ years of experience with intelligence production
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor’s degree

Nice To Haves

Experience with defense tradecraft standards
Knowledge of foundational military intelligence and military capabilities
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Bachelor’s degree in English, Literature, Area Studies, or Communications.
