About The Position

TransPerfect is the world’s largest provider of language and technology solutions, helping businesses thrive globally through translation, localization, and cutting-edge services. We’re looking for a meticulous, organised and reliable e-commerce Freelance Content Editor with proven experience using Shopify and other CMS systems such as Wordpress, AEM, Drupal.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience using Shopify and other CMS platforms such as Wordpress, AEM or Drupal.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong eye for content accuracy.
• High level of trustworthiness due to access to client CMS and assets.
• Ability to work independently while communicating clearly and professionally with the team.
• HTML and CSS expertise, enough to make layout, typo, spacing and style changes.
• Native level proficiency in Japanese (essential).
• Professional level proficiency in English (essential).

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in web QA or content validation is highly desirable.
• Basic java script is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Verify that lists, tables, and general formatting are styled correctly.
• Ensure all content is typo-free, with the ability to edit titles, descriptions, images, variants, pricing, tags and SEO fields.
• Confirm text matches the approved source.
• Review translated text to ensure it fits seamlessly within CTAs, headers, and navigation components.
• Check that all media (images, videos) display correctly and are visible.
• Flag any inconsistencies or errors found.
