About The Position

NoveList is seeking a Content Editor to plan, develop, and publish content across channels, including in-product experiences, e-blasts, newsletters, and articles. In this role, you’ll ensure that the unique NoveList voice carries through our products and related communications. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and editing content for a library-focused or customer product-facing industry, with the ability to translate complex information into user-friendly language. They’ll have strong writing, editing and communication skills, be able to quickly grasp new information, and be adept at managing multiple priorities within deadlines. This remote position is position is U.S. based only (excluding U.S. territories).

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience creating original content for a library-focused or customer product-facing industry
  • Strong ability to translate complex information into user-friendly language
  • Ability to self-manage multiple priorities within deadlines and report on work produced
  • Ability to quickly grasp new information and be adept at managing multiple priorities within deadlines

Nice To Haves

  • 4+ years of experience with MS Office products including Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, and PowerPoint
  • Experience using NoveList products
  • Demonstrated skills with written and verbal communications that are professional and engaging
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills

Responsibilities

  • Develop user‑centered communications that help customers understand features, workflows, and updates through clear, actionable content delivered across appropriate channels.
  • Create articles and guidance that address common user challenges and support successful adoption of products.
  • Write and edit in‑product content such as interface text, help text, onboarding flows, and materials that improve usability.
  • Document real‑world outcomes by researching and writing customer stories that illustrate how libraries use NoveList products to solve problems and achieve results.
  • Collaborate with product and content teams to support feature adoption and keep information accurate and current.
  • Maintain the NoveList voice by editing and improving written materials to ensure consistency and alignment with product messaging.
  • Ensure content meets library needs by grounding all materials in user research, product goals, and the practical workflows of library staff and patrons.
  • Support product education by coordinating logistics for webinars and other learning experiences that help customers use NoveList products effectively.
  • Keep library of current content up to date and relevant.
