Join our small and very friendly team at the Royal Society of Chemistry as a Content Development Editor and become a key ambassador for our world-leading publishing portfolio. Working closely with our Journals, Books, and Magazines teams in the UK, you will build relationships with researchers and academic institutions as well as promote the impact and value of RSC publications across North America. This is a varied role combining commissioning, community engagement, relationship management, and business development, making it ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with people, influencing scientific communities and learning. We're looking for someone with M.S. or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Physics, or a closely related discipline (Ph.D. preferred), who combines scientific credibility with a passion for building meaningful relationships across the research community. Whether you're an early-career researcher, a recent PhD graduate, or have experience in publishing, outreach, or stakeholder engagement, you'll bring strong communication skills and a genuine passion for building meaningful relationships. You should be comfortable managing multiple priorities, working collaboratively across teams, and acting as a credible and diplomatic representative of the Royal Society of Chemistry, helping to strengthen engagement and loyalty within the scientific community.
